Please welcome back Sarajane Helm from the wild wooly western state of Wyoming! Learn with her as she shows you how to color aluminum and add embellishments for a fun and unique bracelet you can call your own. As time permits, you'll also be able to create additional components to make into earrings or to save for future projects.
Get your creative juices flowing with alcohol inks on metal. We'll be exploring a variety of decorative techniques using textural elements provided in class. These techniques can then be used on paper, tile, and clay. Useful information on various protective sealants will be discussed and used. You can frame your metal as is or add central elements and embellishments like masks, buttons, or beaded cabs to create a bracelet; put them on a box; or use them as embellishments in book arts and beyond! This class is suitable for all experience levels! We're so excited to have Sarajane Helm back, so take advantage of her eclectic style and knowledge base while she's here!
